The First 12 Weeks

We like to get the missionaries that have been out for less than twelve weeks and their companions together for ...
(you guessed it) more training!  By this time, the elders and hermanas are settling in and feeling more comfortable with the schedule, the language and rigor of missionary service.

There is always lots to learn and do but these happy missionaries are a
spirit-filled, hard-working, fun-loving group!

Zone Leaders in Training

We frequently meet with the missionaries to conduct training, inspire, express our love and...feed them!  I've decided that missionaries will eat anything and as much of it as they can at any given opportunity! Here are some pictures from a recent Zone Leader meeting.

I was really impressed and deeply touched by the Spirit as I watched them take turns teaching one another.

In with the new and out with the old!

We welcomed our first group of new missionaries to the San Pedro Sula East Mission.  We feel so blessed to have such a great group of missionaries entrusted to our care.

Then we were off to introduce them to their new trainer companions!

The very next day we opened our home to 19 missionaries that were finishing their service. We treated them to a delicious home cooked meal and testimony meeting before sending them off to their homes where anxious families awaited.

Though our time with these departing missionaries was brief, we enjoyed the time we spent with them.  We wish them all the very best as they return home and continue their influence for good as they find ways to continue to be of service to the Lord.
