¡Hasta Luego!

It is always hard for us to say goodbye to missionaries that have finished their service here in Honduras. We have grown to love theses missionaries as we do our own children. The mission changes the lives of those who serve and those who are served. We hope these elders and sisters will continue to do progress and accomplish great things in their lives.  Their service has blessed them in ways they have yet to understand, but the best is yet to come!  

Getting Started

We welcomed thirteen new missionaries to the Honduras San Pedro Sula East Mission on Tuesday.  We picked them up at the airport around 9:30 in the morning. We took them to the La Paz church in La Lima where they were warmly welcomed by the mission leaders and trainers.  We gave them their new assignments and introduced them to their trainer companions.  They were then engaged in an orientation related to the work here in Honduras. After a delicious lunch, they were off to begin their missionary service. 

Super Sisters

We spent a P-day with all the sisters in the San Pedro Sula East Mission at a beach resort in Tela.  It was a beautiful, hot day!  Different companionships offered training on ways to strengthen companionships, teaching investigators, and becoming better missionaries and daughters of God. We had fun playing a few games and then enjoyed a delicious lunch together.  We made some fun memories and a wonderful time was had by all!
