We feel so blessed to have been able to spend the last months of the mission with these fine elders and hermanas! When I consider the caliber of these missionaries returning home, I have no doubt that the future of the church is in good hands with such capable leaders. God bless you all until we meet again!

Welcome to the Mission!
Our missionaries arrive feeling a bit tired on their first day in the mission. Most have been up late the night before getting things packed and ready to depart from the CCM. They often have early flights to get them to their various destinations. The heat for many is a little challenging to get used to here, but these missionaries are tough and resilient! They can do hard things!
We like to start things off right with a baleada breakfast - a Honduran tradition.
This missionary, Elder Urzola, didn't make it to the mission in time to be in on the group picture, but we are thrilled to welcome him to Honduras as well!
Welcome all to the best mission in the world!
Let's get at it!

Five Week Training for New Missionaries
Missionary trainers have one of the most important roles in the mission. The first twelve weeks of the mission are critical for implementing the rules in the Missionary Handbook, studying "Preach My Gospel", working on language skills and many other new and exciting aspects of missionary service. We pull the new missionaries and their trainers together after five weeks to see how they are progressing and to inspire and facilitate additional training. Oh, and we feed them, too!
