We welcomed five elders to the mission on Tuesday. Four were fresh from the MTC in Guatemala and one from the MTC in Brazil. We spent the morning in training, had a delicious lunch and then sent the new missionaries off to their newly assigned areas to begin their work as missionaries. The enthusiasm and anxiousness are both palpable! Who's on the Lord's side who? We're so grateful for their willingness to accept the Lord's call to serve. We will pray for your success and wellbeing every day!
That same day, we welcomed ten missionaries to our home for a farewell dinner which is a tradition for those completing their missionary service. We always have an enjoyable time celebrating our experiences teaching the gospel while eating a tasty meal, sharing final testimonies and taking pictures of forever friends. We will miss our association with these amazing young people but look forward to hearing about all the exciting things that will take place in their lives in the days and years to come. Thank you for your sacrifice to serve the Lord. May the Lord bless and keep you until we meet again!
