Recently the Nicaragua North and Nicaragua South missions were closed due to political unrest. The church is extremely proactive about keeping our missionaries safe and it became necessary to relocate the missionaries currently serving in those two missions. We feel so blessed to be able to welcome twelve of those missionaries to our mission to continue their service. We had nine elders and three sisters join our numbers. We know this change was not easy for those affected by the closure, but everyone has maintained a positive attitude and a contagious enthusiasm for the work. We are stronger and better now and look forward to working with these missionaries as we learn and grow together in this great work of salvation!
