First Baleada for Some and Farewell Dinner for Others

When we pick up new missionaries from the airport as they begin their service in Honduras we offer them the opportunity to eat their first baleada which is a staple food here.  It consists of a flour tortilla, refried beans, scrambled egg and a creamy Honduran cheese.  One of our departing missionaries reported that he'd eaten approximately 2000 baleadas during his service here.  They grow to love this menu item as they eat them most every day, so this is a great way to begin the mission.  Here are some pictures of our latest arrivals - 


















For those completing their missionary service, we have a farewell dinner and testimony meeting in our home the night before going home.  These are the pictures from our latest gathering -
